Street Photography Evaluation
Street photography interests me the most as it has the most 'outgoing' images. The whole concept of street photography is to be different and take in-the-moment photographs and i find this kind of technique can sometimes come out with the best images as they are harder to get perfect and still, they don't have to be perfect to be an eye-catching image.
In this project we were put in pairs and given a camera between two, we then went around the school taking images of what we thought street photography was, also, beforehand we watched a few clips about street photography and looked at some artists work so we had an idea of what to do. Personally I'm not satisfied with the images i produced as i feel i could do alot better with the focus of the image and what i took photographs of.

Street Photography Evaluation
Ive enjoyed doing street photography the most because i find that its one of the most 'outgoing' photography subject and i felt more free when taking images.
This is my favourite thing i have taken because it falls into reflection, extreme cropping and over the shoulder. Also, it relates to one of the first tasks we did at the beginning of year 9, 'splash of colour'. when you look further into the detail of the image your start to notice the colours of the posters on the window and how it all blends into the image because of the bright light of the sun and the transparency of the window. |

STREET PHOTOGRAPHY
How do street photographers behave?
Street photographers usually have cameras with them at all times so they can catch an image at any moment. They need to be very quick on their feet and think outside the box when taking new and exciting images. Street photographers also have to be very brave and outgoing when on the streets because anything could turn up around the corner. Some may be very confident and good at communicating with strangers whereas others choose to be very quite and take images of people without asking.
What kind of equipment do they use?
-Most street photographers choose to use film cameras whereas others may use digital because they find it easier to print.
What kind of subjects interest them?
All street photographers see things in different ways, therefore have different interests but all street photographers take interest in ordinary things and make their audience see it in a different way.
What do they like photographing on the streets?
They tent to take photos of everyday situations such as people walking by, people sitting in a café, train stations, children playing, people in their homes, shadows and reflections. But they also manage to capture all the mayhem of the streets that may seem “abnormal” and they make it in to art.
What are the risks involved in street photography?
The risks of street photography could be getting seriously hurt if people don’t want you to take images of them. They can become caught up in all the chaos od the streets and find themselves dealing with gangs or drugs.

Street Photography Trip
For our street photography trip we took the train down to London then went to the Tate and looked at images taken by other famous photographers. whilst on the trip we ha the opportunity to take images on the way and the way back. I enjoyed this because some of the best places to take images are in train stations and around the street.
Photo trip image evaluation
Personally, this image caught my eye the most out of all the images i took. Its not necessarily my favourite image but it does stand out to me as the most interesting and seems as though it could have some sort of 'story' behind it. Street photography is one of my favourites types of photography because it gives you the oppertunity to think outside the box and look for the 'abnormal' and things that may even shock society. To improve this image i probably would have conposed myself better to get closer and capture a better moment in this image.
